Sarawak Chamber Adventure

My trip this time is on the way to the Sarawak Chamber the biggest cave chamber in the world. On the way to the chamber we had some "minor" difficulties but we all made it safely in the end :)

Oh and few things I forgot to mention in the video:
1- The water was freezing cold so everyone was shivering most of the time
2- We were swimming the 500m with full clothes and shoes on
3- The river was against us on the way in which is why it took us much longer
4- The water was filled with guano (bat droppings), the guide said we should be careful not to get any in our mouths (easy said than done when puffing).

Other than that it was heaps fun :)

I have to say the pinnacles look much smaller in the video because it was far away, they might seem close but there was a big cliff between us and the pinnacles mountain.

This is part of my trip through Sarawak I was in Mulu National park for five days, then had another few days in Brunei and Miri.
Mulu is real gem! it has some of the biggest caves in the world and many places to jungle hike, and amazing views from the great cave structures, to the some of the longest underground rivers:

Millions of bats leaving the caves everyday and diverse wild life

And of course the bugs that make solid eye contact (and have a very load noise):

Here it is the fly kick pose front of the pinnacles of Mulu, Photo credit goes to Helen Mackey:

Brunei was also nice, but there is really not too much to do there other than the Sultan Mosque and the water village.

Nevertheless I kept myself busy with a traditional "bogie dish" to make up for lack of entertainment:

Here the fly kick pic in front of the Sultan Mosque, photo credit goes to my  camera; there was no one around for like 10 mins so I had to improvise a bit, this is the first fly kick picture that was taken by just putting the camera on timer burst mode and timing the kick yay
